Who was your first celebrity crush?
Submitted by Glory.
When I was growing up I developed a thing for Jodie Foster. Not the unhealthy "I'm going to shoot Ronnie Raygun" type of crush, but I did think that she could do no wrong.
What is your favorite day of the week?
I'd have to say that Saturdays tend to be the high point of my week. I get to sleep in which is one of my favorite things in life, yet hardly ever get to do on the weekdays. There is no work to deal with, so if I even tough the computer it is just for fun. There is always something going on during the weekends, so there is never a shortage of things to do! Just right for a party animal like me.
What's the best way to get on your good side?
Submitted by Manon-It-All.It's not hard because pretty much everyone starts on my good side and stays there until they do something to screw it up. I'm a big believer in the addage that strangers are are just friends you haven't met yet.
So the question becomes once you've been kicked off the good side, how do you get back on?
I can't really hold a grudge too long if someone makes a heartfelt apology and does something to show some act of contrition. It can be small, like "Dude, I f*@#ed up, let me buy you a beer" or more grandiose but the effect is the same
What's your method for calculating a tip?
It all depends on the quality of service. If it is good service, I take 10% of the figure and double it usually after a good mean (and the drinks that go with it) I can't be bothered with complex math. If the service is so so, I take the 10% figure add it to the bill and then round up to the nearest dollar increment as I like nice even numbers.
In Holland, we usually round up to the nearest 5 or 10 euro increment. So if the bill was €27.00 then we would round up to €30. But that is mostly because they aren't totally dependant on tips as the get paid a decent working wage.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live? Why?
Submitted by abcdefg81.
As a bonafide world traveller who has been to 49 US States and 31 countries, I can say that I have seen a lot of the world. And while I love traveling from home, I can say that I love coming home to Amsterdam the best! Lucky for me that I already live here.
After all, when you have a view like this from your front porch, how can you complain?Do you remember your first flight? Where did you go? Why?

A better question for me would be do you remember your first flight this week or even today! This week alone I have already had five flights.
But to be honest, all of this travel has somehow robbed me of the sense of wonder I got when I didn't fly all the time. I still get window seats on all my flights, not because I stare intently out the window to witness life at 30,000 feet and 500+ miles an hour, but so I don't get jostled all the time and can sleep in peace. But I still do recognize that is definitely not the same for all people.
Being a good Boy Scout, yesterday I got to do something very simple for my good turn daily. I had checked into my flight from Paris to Amsterdam at the airport early, but the flight was extremely full. Instead of my normal window, I had an aisle seat. After the flight was delayed close to an hour for boarding, I finally got on and saw a very young girl sitting in the middle seat. I smiled and sat down. It took me about a minute to realize that her father was seated in the middle seat directly behind her. So I turned to him and offered my seat to him and he happily accepted. So I endured what is normally a minor level of hell, an extremely crowded flight in the middle seat, so a family could be together. The one consolation was that I slept the entire flight and when I woke up the Morrocan woman who was sitting next to me had spritzed some nice perfume, so I woke up smelling some delicate floral smell.
What's the weirdest thing you've ever eaten?
Submitted by Megan.
I've eaten a lot of really strange things in my time. Sea cucumber just recently, rattlesnake, chocolate grasshoppers (which were surprisingly good!) putrified herring, but I think that wierdest thing would be something that most people wouldn't even consider edible. Quite literally I ate the entire contents of a used bowling alley ashtray. In one of my most lucrative Stunt Bets I made a whole $5 ($5.67 adjusted for inflation) to eat a bunch of ash and a butt. I can't begin to describe how bad it was. Not even a whole bottle of Cholula would have made it taste any better. I pretty much had to go to the bathroom and try and scrub my tounge to get the tast of ash outta my mouth. But hey, $5 and a spot in bowling alley infamy!
What do you like to make or order for brunch?
Mimosas and eggs benedict can't be beat for a lazy (and possibly hungover) brunch. It always puts a smile on my face.
What's your favorite foreign accent?
Living in Europe I hear a lot of really peculiar accents. Some I like better for other reasons. For example, I really like the way Belgians speak Dutch or Vlaams. It is so much softer sounding, polite, and enjoyable than Amsterdam Dutch. I also love the way that Scottish people can curse with such a heavy accent. "aww for fooks sake" LOL It's a shame that French people have such a cultural aversion to speaking English as I find they have an incredibly sexy accent. But personally, I love the way Italians speak English. Not only do they have a very distinctive sound, but it is also the pace at which the speak it.
